I'm not paying to post on here plain and simple. I can understand you are building a rep system, but I can tell you right now a lot of people aren't going to stay on this site long.

Tigar gave you a way to be able to post in the BST section. It costs money to run a forum and $25 won't kill anyone.

Apparently you seem to still be confused regarding Rep, so I'll say it again.... REP POWER AND REP POINTS are two different things. If for example I gave you rep, you would have +100 rep points because my rep power is 100. That alone would give you 200% more rep points then is needed to make that requirement.

You don't have to pay to post, paying to be a supporting member is doing just that, supporting the site. It is to help cover the costs of the forum. Personally, I think it is a great idea to cover the overhead that maintaining a site like this demands. I also think this site will be here for a long time! I will continue to check it every day because I have already found plenty of help and entertainment by visiting this site. Sorry your upset about the requirements, but I think they are justified.

There is a good reason why you have to have 30 days, 50 posts, and 50 rep "points" to post in the B/S/T section of the forum. It's to prevent people from spamming their stuff, gives people a chance to assess whether your a person to do business with, and if a person takes the time to establish a presents. They are not here just to use the services and leave. To me hitting a forum just to dump your stuff and running is rude and taking advantage of people. That is wrong on too many levels.

50 rep points is not a difficult accomplishment for most. Neither is 50 posts. Chances are, if you contribute 50 post that are constructive. You will have 50 rep. You might even decide to stick around. You might find that you have found a forum to call home...

I am sure if you post up pics of your setup you could score 50 points. People really enjoy seeing other setups.

Yeah it's a slow process but believe me....wait until you have a problem with your marker.....the quality people here are always willing to help out and that my friend is what is awesome about this forum....not to mention knowing there are trustworthy people here.....and that is when you realize how much this forum is worth!
