What battery do you run in your marker? I run True 9.6 volt NiMH rechargeable batteries in all of mine. Most 9 volt rechargeable batteries are only 8.4 volts This can cause issues with demanding electronics such as paintball markers and loaders.
The initial startup cost of going green is a bit high for some but in the end it is better for all. Who wants to load up our landfills with spent alkaline batteries? Behold the TRUE 9.6 v rechargeable battery! ![]() Batteries can be purchased on Amazon.com This is the charger that I use to charge the True 9.6 volt batteries. It is recommended for charging the 9.6 volt batteries. Other chargers that do not put out 10.5 volts will not charge these batteries properly and can shorten the life. A cool feature that this charger has is the ability to charge batteries via your 12v cigarette lighter. This is great for you last minute game attenders as you can charge your batteries on the way to the game or top them off after use at the game. This is a great feature for those of you who may attend 2 day or longer events such as D-Day. ![]() The charger can be purchased at Thomasdistributing.com. This may be a combo pack of the C904F and 1 True 9.6 volts. $39 I will confirm with the company and update the thread. Here is the combo with 3 batteries.$57 Will confirm. A comparison of what you spend on Alkaline 9 volts and Rechargeables: A single 9 volt Duracell 9v costs about $5 The combo pack charger and 1 True 9.6 volt Rechargeable NiMH costs $39. Some of you might say " Well, I can buy 8 Alkaline 9 volts or the price of 1 NiMH and the charger." This is true, but when you consider the fact that the rechargeable can be recharged upwards of 800 times, it really is the true winner. $39 divided by 800 = .05 cents

I agree about going green, but my concern is they don't hold their juice for very long. Have you had any issues like going through multiple batteries during a day's worth of play?
How long have you been using these? Thanks for posting!

As long as you charge them the night or even the week before, you should be fine. You probably don't want to charge them 3 months before you play as there is some discharge.
