This modification is something you can do to your existing stock Rotor circuit board.
It turns the power indicator light off on your Rotor. ![]() Take your Rotor apart down to the battery power pack / motor section. ![]() Gently remove the battery power pack / motor section. Becareful not to lose the power button cover. ![]() Remove the batteries from the power pack. Then remove the phillips headed screw and unplug the power pack connector from the motor section. Unscrew the two phillips headed screws the holds the cover in place over the motor and circuit board. ![]() Remove the cover and expose the motor and circuit. You'll notice a small black plastic plug w/ LED printed on the circuit board near it. ![]() Remove the plug and re-install it on one pin only. So as not to lose the plug if you wish use the indicator light again. Then re-assemble the Rotor taking care that the anti-jam slide and power button are aligned to fit back into the motor section. Now you have a Rotor that won't give you away during night play.

Great find, Gwalt! I'm sure many people here can use this. I know I'm disabling the light on both my rotors when I can find the time.

Up until now, we've been ghetto modding our rotors just like that.
This mod is cheap and easy. Or you could step it up a notch and install a small switch that you flip on when you want to see the light and flip OFF when you don't want to see it. The latter would be for a night game when you don't want a blue light beacon giving you away while you sneak around stealthily in full camo.

Dude! If you figure this out, I want to see a howto with parts list. That would be kickass.

I'm only good for the BIG idea. I'll let you smart people figure out the details.
