Default new to the forum

new to the forum, but just ordered a mini, olive drab, with the j&j barrel kit, dye rotor (black), and pure energy carbon 50/4500. Super stoked. I have owned a autococker trilogy with qloader and stiffi barrel in the past, as well as a 06 superstock cocker, and an ion. this will be by far my nicest marker, and I can't wait to get into the field with it! I tried to get colors that would work well for both woodsball, and speedball. I perfer woods, but in germany, I only have speedball... Anyways, as soon as I get out of afghana, I willl be tearin it up! Cool forum!

YEs, welcome to the forum and be sure to post up some pics of it when it arrives.

Have you thought about an aftermarket roller-bearing trigger for the Mini?

yeah, i have been thinking about a new trigger. Also, it didn't come in a alum case... does that mean it is the old version? How could I tell? And if it is the old version, what should I do to get it up to par?

Opposite. The hard case was a promotional item for the older ones.

The only thing you might want to check on is make sure there is a spring behind the poppit. That's all and your Mini is ready to rock out-of-the-box!

Like Tigar says, check for the spring in the back of the poppet. That would be a V2 poppet. If the face of the poppet is removable, then it is a v3 which is the latest and greatest as you can simply replace the plastic face instead of the whole poppet should that be required.
