I've been suggesting a name change for this forum for a while. The powers at be don't seem to be too interested. There really is no more Invert as a company so people who are searching for an Axe forum are likely to just pass this by.

A lot of Axe owners are newer and may not even know about Invert and the mini. The Axe is pretty popular right now, this would be the best time to capitalize on the name. If not someone else eventually is going to set up an "Axe" forum/group and it's likely to become the de-facto Axe hangout.

A domain name change involves costs, but I will see if Invictus is willing to make a change.

Thanks Kanuck, it's just sad to see this forum effectively vacant. I'd love to have more people here but Invert is a dead name, the company is gone and Empire has said they are not going to market anything else under that name. I'm sure with a name like AxeOG we would get more traffic around here.

Yes, the domain changes do cost a fair bit. I know so after speaking with a friend who helped set up my new team forum for me. He recently had to change domain names for someone and the costs weren't pretty.
