Can't say that I have, I usually don't even test fire it inside. That is mostly because it will scare my baby and my wife would be upset with me. Freaking out the dogs is bad enough, lol.

Yeah, I can safely say that I've never had a Negligent Discharge without the barrel sock on. I DO, however, have a spot in my basement where I like to put a pop or gatorade bottle and shoot into it since it contains the splatter and allows me to test the marker; but the only time I gas up my markers at home is with a mask on when I'm intending to fire them off in a safe area like the bottle or in my garage!

I have never done that thank god. Though I have shot nerf darts out of it inside (dont do this with a good barrel). You really should use your barrel sock and remember "be cool, cover your tool" lol

hahahaha! i had never thought of shooting a nerf dart through my paintall barrel! i'm trying that right now!!!
EDIT: just tried it! the dart goes squirrelly right out of the barrel but its haulin' balls....
