I have heard of these around but never really had interest in them since I could just fill a bottle up with water and throw it in the pod pack if I really needed it.

But now they have come out with a new version with a hydration system and they look to be really great setup for guys who run pod packs or have no room with a vest to run a camelbak. So here is a link check em out

I may pick one up as well. The price isn't unreasonable at all, so it might not be a bad investment. My biggest concern was the fact that I couldn't use it on the field without having to lift the mask. This has been solved I see.

Much better than when I first saw them and it looks like you can use them upside down or right side up.

I have two of them and will be ordering 2 of their tubes with bitegrips. My Chest rig doesn't have room for a bladder, so I'll pop a waterpod in a spare pod pouch and be good to go!

I've been waiting for them to finish out their system.

I just saw these online the other day. Seems like a great idea since I would rather run with my pod pack than my vest. Let me know how they work out for you. How much water will they hold? Can you use them right side up and upside down?

I think they can be used upside down or right side up. I think they hold 20oz of water. But ill post up after I get the chance to use them.

Supposedly they can be mounted both ways. I just filled mine up to the neck and it held 24 oz of watery goodness
