Interesting. Sounds like either one will work great.

He got different results than myself. I had quite a few problems with my modded rip clip, but my tm specific RC has been hiccup free. Maybe I just got a modded lemon from KEE, but I will always advocate the tm specific RC first.

Yeah it looks like the Flasc is a little overkill on the sensativity anyway. It also depends dramatically on the quality of the soldering job. The one I did myself didn't work well at all.

Overall with the cost and consistency I too would take the TM Rip Clip.

Well I got the TM rip clip in the mail yesterday. This video confirms what I found. At odd times it would activate when I was talking. Though I did a test fire and it shot great every time. Activated without a problem. Especially when my room is running with noisy, screaming jet engine-like fans.

Well the pulses after startup are a tension/stack monitoring system from what I have been able to learn.

Hmm..... I never thought of that. Doesn't mention anything like that in the manual. I need to re-read it. It definitely is different from the regular BT4 one.

It isn't in the manual but Simon Stevens aka Manike aka super duper head designer over at KEE said it's some new software from the higher end loaders that was incorporated into it.

unless you have a regular rip clip allready, theres definantly no reason to get a moded rip clip compared to the Tm series, Flasc doesnt even sell the modded ones anymore, only the stuff to upgrade existing ones. (and new tm series rip clips of course)

basically after doing the video it shows more that if you allready have a bt4 rip clip and have skill at soldering, you dont need to drop the money on a whole new rip clip if you dont want to as upgrading your existing one will work just as well (or better if you can solder really good) then a Tm series at a fraction of the cost. if you dont have a rip clip allready, then its pointless to get anything but the Tm series (expecially since its more expencive to go buy a regular rc and then mod it)
