Well, I posted this over on the X7OG and most of you are there as well but I guess it fits on this forum as well so here is my new Axe. Got it last Sunday for the most amazing deal too. Our pro shop sells yearly Air Cards for 100 bucks (free air for one tank for that year) but it also comes with two punches to buy a marker at Employee Discount (almost cost) so with tax I got it for like 330 bucks. As you can see I put the Furious Lotus .679 green tip on it and it almost matches the olive of the marker perfectly. More than that it shoots so straight and so far, it's almost like cheating . The trigger is so smooth and simply a joy to shoot. Feels very comfortable in your hands, I ran a 48 and 68/4500 and both felt good and snug.

I'd never shot a mini but I do have a TM7 and never cared for that trigger so if it was similar I can see why people like this one so much better. The curve of the trigger and the way it's set up make it perfect for walking. My guess is this was done on purpose to make it a competition marker. Here are a few pics...







Can't find much bad to say about it other than the fact that I went through a lot of paint, real easy to empty a hopper. I guess some people didn't like the feedneck but it's clamping, I don't know what more people want, seems to work great to me. Field owner said he's seeing a lot of requests lately and I can see why.

The fact that people are buying Proto's and Eteks with plastic parts and the same old reg up front with ASA and Macroline set up is sad, there is a new world out there if you just give it a try.

Here's the funny thing. I bought my Axe a month ago. It's being laser engraved as we speak. Don't know when it'll be finished but I expect Boss Paintball to have it back next week at the latest. Only then will I know how good it looks.

I have to see about getting a Prophecy. I really liked the loaders when they first came out. SPD didn't want to do custom shells for them so I ended up with a Pinokio. Guess I need to find somewhere to get that done!

My buddy took some video last time, I'll have to check and see if he got any of me with it. The axe does seem to cry out for some lasering, I just don't know what I would want to have put on it tho.

That was my problem until Kohn showed me what they could do. Right then and there, they already had my idea in place. LOL Had to tweak it a couple of times though. We'll see how she turns out when I get it. Though, be forewarned. Lasering is not cheap if you want quality.

It's kind of like getting a tatoo though, you really gotta be sure in what you get done. If I got anything done to mine I would just want something fairly conservative, maybe just an Empire symbol or something. The other problem is what you are going through now, having to wait for it to be done. I'd have to be without my Precious for a few weeks I'm sure.
