Default Reloadro's new AXE!

Just picked this up about a week ago! Been wanting one for a minute; currently own an X7 Phenom but the lure of the Axe was too strong. I got it at my local field shop, so I was able to play the second half of the day with it....my jaw dropped on the ground as soon as I took a few shots with it. SOOOO smooth, and so insanely accurate. I stuck my friends' .684 CP barrel on it after a little bit with the stock barrel, and the fps went up like 30 fps. The reg needs to break in a little more; it kinda creeps up to 220-ish and i have to adjust it back down after a while. and for some reason, after that first day of play, it didnt purge all the air when i flipped the on/off. i got home and tried to take the bolt out, finally realized "hmm maybe theres still air in it" because it wouldnt really budge. turned it on and lo and behold there was one shot of air left. after that, ez game.

I love this thing! Unfortunately the Valken loader came in a few days later, so i was playing with a simple Primo loader, but even with that, this thing ROCKED compared to the Phenom. can't wait to get out there with it with a powered loader.

thanks guys! i'm still on the fence about the barrel because i keep thinking about getting a deadlywind fibur.

also, maybe you guys can help me out with this issue: i want to extend the overall length of the tank a little bit. ive seen a bunch of on/off extenders that seem to be designed for markers like the mini that dont already have on/offs. there's also a straight up extender by CP:

what would you guys recommend? i'm assuming with the CP one i can just screw it onto the tank and then use the tank as i would normally?

Hmm good question. The On/Off would work but be kind of redundant. I don't see why the CP extension wouldn't work. Are they much cheaper?

Just get a crossfire regulator as they are about 5 miles long

I think a DW would look much better than the green barrel but we all know the marker will shoot paint and take out opfor no matter what color the marker/barrel is.

im already using a crossfire! reg doesnt really seem that long; maybe i have one of the newer ones. bought it around april.

i keep going back and forth between liking the ugliness of the green CP and wanting a DW. Then i remind myself if i keep it ugly, i save ninety bucks. plus, somehow i feel better about abandoning my tippmanns if i keep my darkside marker a bit ugly, ya know?

Perhaps the new Crossfire regs are shorter. The reg that was on my 88/45 was about a mile long. I see your reasoning in keeping the green barrel for sure.
