Default ifit/barrel question

How is the stock barrel on the mini? I would like to get the iFIT Autococker to A5 Adapter and use my j&j 12"or cmi 14" with the inserts. I don't really want to buy anymore barrels so if I can use the onces that I have it would be cool. Or if the stock one is good enough than I just get the Autococker adapter so that I can size my "balls"

The stock mini barrel is actually not that bad! I have a Dye UL on mine right now and Im lovin it!

Depending on the price of the Autococker to A5 adapter you may be able to get a good barrel for the same price!

CP barrels are good from what I hear.

EDIT: Didn't see that you don't want to buy any more barrels lol.

$35 for the adapter...cheaper than a barrel! and I can size balls. I guess my question is...is the j&j better than the stock barrel?

I would take Tippy's advice and buy a Dye Ultralite! I have a 12" UL on my Mini and it is way better than the iFit with stock barrel, or J&J.

The UL is a good way to go, but you can't beat a good paint to bore match.

Ya know, I've heard that everywhere, and I'm starting to not believe it. At least bore matching isn't for me. I've had the Python kit (same as the iFit) with a 14" St!ffi MF and it didn't seem to do much of anything. I love my UL way more than the Python bore matching deal. Same with my Phenom. I had a 10" DeadlyWind on it and sold it as soon as I tried a Furious barrel (Welcome to FuriousPaintball). Maybe bore matching just isn't my style, but I think it's over rated. I just stick to a high end .689 bore and that seems to work much better for me.

Not sure... As I've said. I don't like those kind of systems... Also try a Furious barrel instead of the UL. In my own opinion, it's a on par with the quality of the UL, if not a little better, and cheaper! Check this link... Welcome to FuriousPaintball

I dont like the way the iFit/Python works. If you buy a barrel that is .693 OK, itll work fine I guess but if you have a .689 or smaller, having a larger bore sizer is going to do nothing for you.

Freak kits though are totally different though as they ARE the barrel.

Just my two cents.
