Moved.

Its nice but I don't think its needed. Worst case you can use a thread saver which is cheaper then replacing the Reg. If you have the money to burn or need to get the reg replaced then go ahead in my book.

The New Designz Thread Saver On/Off does add about an inch and a half to the overall length of the marker.

So maybe someone would not like having the added length. Some poeple just enjoy having the latest and greatest technology on their marker. To each their own.

I'm ordering one as soon as I find the time. I need some other stuff from Boss anyway.

okay that made me feel much better. The local field keeps telling me its a BIG DEAL and i should get one first. I just didnt understand the big reason. I was looking at the thread savers i might do that but as long as the air is running through my tank correctly. And i can read how much psi is in the tank and gun. I dont really care haha

Well there isnt much chance of this happening but I hear some guys like having an on/off so that they can fill their tank while still on the gun but still have the gun degased. The idea behind this is that if for some crazy reason your tank reg fails you dont have 3000/4500 psi rushing into your gun all at once. But thats also the reason they have a high and low pressure burst disc on HPA tanks.

field owner explained to me so with all that pressure running through the gun, you could release the pressure and not worry about tearing up threads on either the tank or gun.
I have had some resistance but.. nothing enough to wear i could feel threads being messed up

I would like to have this up grade but I really do find it hard to spend the $80 for it. Right now I just add a little slick to the threads of my tank before I put it on my Mini to make sure it comes off with struggle at all.
