Woot! My wife just called me here at work and my Automag package just showed up at the house! I've been wanting one of these for a long time. It is like one of the classic cars of paintball. I'll post up some pics of it when I get it looking like I want.

Just make the classic your getting into a pump OR spare no expense and make a ULE'd X-Valved monster.

Well, I'm the slightest bit bummed but not too much. When I asked the seller about what valve was in it he responded it was the A.I.R. (Advanced Integrated Regulator) so the reg is built into the valve system like most Mags. Well he didn't mention that is was a "Field Rental" valve. They are machined slightly different from the standard valves. The reason for this was to limit the fps on them to no more than 275fps, which is fine for me because most all fields I play at is arond 280fps max. The only thing is that the valve has a smaller orifice that will not accept the lvl10 bolt so I can't upgrade to the low force anti chop bolt. I spoke with some guys on Automags.org and they said that it wouldn't be much of an issue if I use a force feed hopper, that should help it to not chop. The lvl 10 bolt was produced more for the RT and elctronic framed Mags with high rates of fire. I was just going to keep it a low bps shooting mechanical setup so it's really no skin off my nose. The funny thing is that finding a Field Rental valve marker is kind of rare from what I've read. We all know how field rental markers get beat up and this thing fired just like a champ. Pretty darn accurate as well. Right now it's in pieces in a box. I'm gonna replace the steel braided hoses for macroline and swivel connectors, drop a new gas through grip on it, probably get a Crown Point barrel for it, and I'm considering an air through stock (something similar to the one on one of T's markers.) After that I'll call her good and enjoy my vintage mech marker. Pics of T's stock below.

So, it wasn't as advertised? We don't want pics of T's stuff. You know the rules!

LOL! I forgot to bring the camera home from work. I'll get them put up soon, I promise.
![]() Edit: No that wasn't advertised in the auction, and the auction was As Is so I have no grounds any kind of reversal. In all honesty though I'm not really upset, and I don't think it was an intentional fleecing either. The guy was really nice and commufor nicated well, I just don't think he knew much about mags and that just didn't register with him. The next mag I get though I'll KNOW to be super specific about that though. Regardless, it's a great little shooter and the trigger will only max out at about 9-11 bps and with a force feed loader I won't have much to worry about.
