dp guns just dont hold value at all on trade or sale.
dye, pe, or macdev is the way to go

I think it's the nature of the beast that the more expensive electros just drop in value. I've seen DMs and Egos lose half their retail in two years while upped Shockers are lucky to fetch $350. It seems the cheaper high-ends actually lose less total money. I think the reason MacDevs don't lose as much is because they aren't as common. The only thing that's really holding resale is a Mag. But I'm not too concerned with that. If I buy something used it will already be cheap and won't depreciate much more.
I've tried a DM5, but not one of the current models. I wouldn't mind trying a newer DM or MacDev, but I've been burned by most things I've bought before I was able to really try them out and there are none around here that I can use. |
