It is easy to be frustrated with people who have wrong information. But that's what we're here for. We all help each other out. Collectively we're smarter than any one person alone. Well other than me. I know everything...

Good news. I found a shop that will fill it up. Bad news... its about 40 min away. The kid there was really helpful and a customer came in who was a paintball coach of some sort. He invited me to a field near by where they also fill tanks. The kid at the paintball shop said that I might be able to get air through the fire department?
Well i blasted through one of my tanks today. It was pretty damn sweet. I was impressed how well it shot right out of the box. Any recommendations of cleaning/maintaining the gun. I feel like i should do something to it after i am done. Again, I am a newb and unfamiliar with paintball lingo and what not. THank you for your patience! |

Every few cases of paint, just take out the screw that goes up into the abck of the grip frame.. And take out the bolt + bolt guide, clean them, lube it with the lube provided.. and your good to go.

Remember, you don't need globs of lube on those orings. Just enough to make them shiney.
You may also want to read through the stickied threads we have here because you'll learn a lot from them. Lastly, welcome to the forum.

Ive shot more than 2k shots before a lubing...
Ive prolly gone around 8k before a lube before, and didnt feel anything bad... Can always just take out the bolt and check it, if it looks like it needs some, then do it, if its fine, slide it back in. |

Remember everyone, that the o-rings are your markers life blood. Make certain they are in good working order and don't have any nicks in them and that they are lubed. This little tiny bit of preventive maintenance will make your markers last for a looooooooooooooooooooooong time.
I have to deal with o-rings every day at work and I know first hand how the tiniest defect in the o-ring with cause something to not function properly or even fail to function at all. So take care of them. Last edited by soulcar; February 28th, 2010 at 09:53 AM. |
