If you look above the rear frame bolt, there is a big circle on the back end of the marker. That's your back cap. You'll see a slot for the allen key to fit into, that's what you turn to adjust your velocity with mate.
It's the black hole in the middle of the white stripes there. It was what I used to do in the forums back in the old days.

LOL i figured that was the back cap. I didnt know that adjusting the back cap would throw anything off... i thought it was either locked in 1 position or else it was removable. I am going to start here. I also need to throw up some pics... my new grips came in and they are sick.

The back cap is how you adjust your velocity...The further out you turn it, the more the poppet is able to open up and the more air can be released into the chamber to propel the paintball. I'm guessing your back cap was pretty much all the way in...
