I have a buddy who can powder coat and he has already done my header and other accent stuff for my car for free. he said if it was ok to do it to my mini he would paint the accents for me because i want purple and companies dont make a purple accent kit for the mini. so i was just wondering if I could powdercoat my gun..? Let me know

assuming you seal off the places that are in the gun, i dont see why not? maybe im wrong?

You should be cool as long as you remove any electronics. I would break it down to have painted. What parts are you having powder coated?

ok, i mean i just someone to be like 110% positive because if i can take off everything that would be powdercoated then that would b fine because when you powdercoat it is magnetized so i dont want it to mess with the board or anything... i just have to take off the stuff and then i would do it but i keep hearing ppl keep saying annodized or whatever but i jsut really want to be sure

You will have to remove the magnet thats glued on as well.

OK that is wat i was thinking too and what stuff comes in the accent packages? I would like to get ecerything that comes in an accent package and more if it looks cool

The accent kit has 2 detents, bolt guide, velocity adjuster end cap, and lever to feedneck. Are you buying the accent kit just to be safe?

no im not... im just goin to paint whatever will look good, i mean i just dont konw what some of those are lol new player here. and what do u think would look good painted??? im doin the lever definately andd idk what the rest of those are...

oh wow thank you very much... yes ill get those painted and i have also seen some with the line between the grip frame and the gun painted... do u know what im talkin about?
