Why not use the Oring mod like Gwalt did and put the APEX 2 on your stock barrel?

I haven't seen just the APEX2 tip for sale anywhere yet. It only comes with a barrel. The shroud of the apex2 covering the porting will make the report a bit louder.

What is there to break by sliding O-rings onto a barrel? If you're worried about taking the apex 2 tip apart, then there is no getting around that as you cannot at this time buy the tip alone. You have to buy it on the stock apex barrel and take the tip apart to remove it.
