I have a Tippmann x7 for woodsball and I'm a relatively new player. Been playing for a two months or so and I was looking to get an Invert mini for woodsball. How does this marker compare to others around the same price range? The price is great and in my budget and from a few reviews on the forums here it sounds like a great buy. What do you guys think?

Yup, can't go wrong.
Some things to watch for are; The v1 and v2 came with a nice carry case, but need a new v.3 poppit and spring (most will already have this...pretty standard upgrade). There is no pressure relief on the ASA so most people either pick up a New Designz On/Off ($30) or a new Axe on/off ($80). I have one of each and they both work great. The v.3 Mini comes with the new poppit but no case. The CP bearing trigger upgrade is nice but not mandatory. There is a cheap magnet upgrade you can do to. Maybe a nicer feedneck but they are all optional. For $200 or less used you can't go wrong and your Tippmann will begin to collect dust (mine has). Keep in mind you'll need a loader too. I recommend the Rotor (nice one for sale on X7OG right now), but they are pricey compared to some of the others. B. |

Another thing...if you are thinking new, it's pretty much the price of a used Axe.
I wouldn't buy a new Mini. It's the used price that makes them so attractive. And there are plenty around. Then take the money you saved and buy a Rotor :-) B. |

Welcome to the forum!
My first marker was also an X7. My second marker was an ][Mini. I used that X7 only one more time before I sold it the following year. There is nothing wrong with the Mini so long as it feels good in your hands because of its relatively small size. I bought it because I wanted a marker I did not have to spend extra money on to make it perform well. A completely stock Mini will serve you well. Over time, you may feel the itch to purchase that New Designz On/Off Thread Saver so you'll no longer have to shoot out the trapped air after removing your tank. Over time, you may want to upgrade the trigger or the barrel. Again, these are nice things and not must things. Lastly, DO NOT USE CO2 with your Mini. I say this only because you own an X7 and might use it with CO2.

Is the trigger that bad so that I won't be able to use it until I get more money to buy the aftermarker trigger or is it manageable.

The stock trigger is just fine. Use it and decide if you need to replace it.
