Well, I officially made the jump from an A5 with WAS to a Mini with a Halo Too hopper. (Flash kind of distorts color, it's the Olive model) Any tips/tricks/watch out for's that I should be aware of? Thanks!

As far as stuff to watch out for, do you know what version your poppet is?

Just make sure don't use CO2 and keep the pressure on your guage under 200psi and you should be good to go.

Just sold my A5 to my brother

Haven't shot the mini yet, but it looks like thursday will be the day. I was thinking of getting the techt barrel kit due to the good reviews. Would I regret that choice? Thanks

^^^It is item #33. The old poppits did not have the spring behind them. The newest ones have a spring and the front face can be taken off and replaced.

The stock barrel is quite decent. Of course, a barrel kit that allows you to match the size of the paintballs is an improvement. I would hold off on the barrel purchase until after you've had a chance to play with the stock barrel. At a field, you might be able to try your friends' barrels to see which one you like best since the Mini has autococker threads which are very popular.

No problem and accessing that part (or any part on the Mini) is quite easy. Unscrew the bolt screw underneath, unscrew the bolt assembly, and push out the poppit with your finger.

i recently made the switch myself (from an A5 and dont regret it) , and i did get the techt ifit for my mini, and it seems to work really well, i would get the 6 piece kit as you prob wont need the 2 largest sizes

From the reviews I have read, I think I am sold on the ifit. I loved my A5, but I play way more speedball and feel I could be at least a little more competitive with the Mini. Sold my A5 to my brother last night
