regarding the Marq with a Proficiency Engine, the cycling pressure, the air required for the bolt to cycle and stage a paintball, is around 70psi. the operating pressure, the pressure required to achieve ~280fps, is around 160psi. so Tigar is correct, at least in part, that the Marq will feel smoother than a Mini b/c of the lower cycling pressure as well as a lower operating pressure.

oh yea most definately in the mini vs the marq pressure wise. there is no comparison between the 2. i think he was wanting technical info on the lpr.

aaahhh..... well, below is an animated illustration showing how an LPR functions. the LPR in the Marq functions essentially the same except that it uses a delrin piston instead of an aluminum or brass piston and a spring instead of a shim stack.
![]() (if the .gif above doesnt work for you, you can see it here... http://www.warpig.com/paintball/tech...rk/index.shtml) regarding how the LPR drives the bolt in the Marq, there are fore and aft air channels that run from the LPR housing to the firing chamber. the LPR provides air into the drivetrain on either side of a sail on the backend of the rammer shaft. when air is introduced from the LPR behind the sail it will drive the bolt forward, staging the paintball. conversely, when air is introduced in front of the sail it will return the bolt to its 'at rest' position in the cycle. you can see alll of this in the image below showing the LP and HP air flow in a Marq.

I love the look of that forward angular grip!
And that barrel looks cool too, but I'm a DW fanboy.

thanks alot gfource. i got to really use it alot this weekend. i love it, its super accurate, super fast, and great on air. i like the dw barrels to, but flasc sponsors us so we run there barrels
the angled grip is a magpul afg grip. its fits nicely and feels really good in your hands. the stock, the piece on the magazine, and the cheek pad are also all from magpul as well.
