Default Oldschool Ironmen Matrix Now with a Twist

As I am still the biggest fan of oldschool matrices ever I decided to dump even more money into my IM matrix. I've done this mod on two of my older trixxes, but that was with a dm4 and a dmc frame, never something as awesome as a UL frame.

Without further ado here are the pictures.

So, for those of us not familiar with these markers, what am I looking at here? An IM Matrix with the grip frame swapped out for a Dye UL? Is that correct?

Correct, a tray has to be milled into the front of the frame to clear the solenoid and a new frame screw has to be tapped into the body. On the electronics side you need to install a set of DM4/5/C eyes and splice a dm4/5/c solenoid harness into the stock harness so that it will work with the board.

Oh, is that all? You must really like the feel of the UL frame to do that to such a fine piece of old school glory.

Well it also lets me run newer boards. And don't worry the stock frame is going to remain with me just in case.

Mike I don't remember which marker you let me use at one of the events, but I'm sure this one shoots just as sweet. I was on the field for about 10 minutes and back off because I went through nearly 1800 paintballs that quick... talk about a silky smooth shooting marker. Nothing like an old school marker that has a sweet pull and shoots ropes.

Damn you Mike, you made me spend another $50 that day on paint.... lol.
