i am sure this is old news to some of you electro-heads, but for those who might not have seen it, check out the 09 Impulse:
2009 Impulse Thread(questions, answers, pics & vids on the 1st pg) - PbNation here's a quick pic, too... ![]() read the info in the link, too... its kinda cool. the primary and secondary regulators are built into the grip frame, so not only are there no external hoses there are no internal hoses, either. the front grip is a volumizer. the downside of the marker is that there is a LOT of proprietary threading and workings going on with this marker so you cant upgrade or swap parts out from other markers. its still a good looking marker, though! Actually this IS a good looking marker. I usually don't like the looks of electros aside from the Mini, but this is something I would actually consider using.

yeah, i love the clean, conservative lines on it. that's one thing that attracted me to the legend.

i like the idea that smart parts is actually regulating how many of these get released.
unlike other companies swamping the market with them, hence making the value go up even more. def a clean looking gun, little to rich for my blood though

Yeah, the price I saw was $999. That alone will ensure I never own one of these markers. I am sure that since it is a limited marker the resale value will stay pretty high.

if i ever get good enough that i will actually need a $1k marker, i hope that someone will be sponsoring me and i get it free. i feel guilty enough with the markers i have and together i didnt pay $1000 for the lot of them!

Even sponsored teams don't always get their gear for free. Often it's just a discount, like paying $800 instead of $1000 for the marker.

but i'm talkin uber-good, jaron... like, The Matrix marries Wanted good... me, dodging paintballs by bending in ways that are physically impossible while simultaneously whip-shooting my marker and curving paintballs around obstacles to hit OpForces... that kinda good! of course, it'd look mighty funny given my height-to-weight ratio, but that'd just add to the fun of watching me in action! i could charge admission!!! LOL

THe coolest feature IMO is the hinged eye covers. Anything to make general maintenance and cleaning easier is great in my book.
