Default Tank's new Phantom

Finally got around to posting up some pics of my setup. Right now I'm running a VSC with Lapco T-stock with integrated drop, a Guerrilla Air 13ci tank, CCI undercocking kit, 11" Stock Phantom barrel bored for Freak inserts, and I just got a right offset stock class breach with detent mod machined by Air Soldier Products. I'm about where I want to be with it minus maybe a few other little add ons. She sure is a good shooter.......light, compact, and it just seems to naturally aim where I'm wanting to shoot. Looking forward to the added challenge pump is going to add to the game.

Great looking Pump, Tank. Keep us updated on how you like it and use Kanuck as a target when you shoot.

Good luck with your new pump!

I'm still trying to figure out what all the ups are that you mention. Pump markers are like the final frontier for me.

Nice phantom. Is that a Wevo under pump kit?

Yeah, stock class pumps are a strange beast. The undercocking kit is the pump handle underneath the barrel. The standard Phantom pump handle is bored out and fits over top of the barrel. I opted to change that so the handle doesn't eventually wear off the anno. The most confusing mod to you is probably the ASP detent mod on the offset breach. Here is the ASP Online Store: ASP Phantom Detent Modification. Phantoms by design, which is almost unchanged since the late 80's, don't have a detent system. This solves that problem to prevent roll outs and double feeds..

Thanks man. I love the gauge because I can see when the pressure starts to drop and let's me know exactly when to head back to the chrono. Looking forward to seeing what kind of results you get out of your Superbolt once everything is in. Pump is addictive!

It's based off the Wevo kit. Wevo Paintball went under and Mike at CCI started making the Wevo style kit after the owner of Wevo asked him to take that over. Mike improved the design slightly to remove the side to side wiggle that was associated with a lot of the Wevo kits and added the ribbed pump handle to mimic the original pump handle. There is a tiny bit of twist in the pump handle because it's a single rod setup but it's hardly noticeable at all.

I have a gauged body on my Phantom., thats really a must! I went through 3 phantom to learn what I liked best, and I would like to get a under pump kit, but I would want it to match the green/black camo... I use WWA ring detents. Works great, and they are cheap. I still have a CCM carbon fiber barrel kit, but I am happy with the stock barrel.

Nice phantom! I started out in the 80's with a pump and sure do miss those days. Where around here are you playing stock class? I was just saying to Kanuck at lunch the other day how much I would love to get bact to that.
