I was talking to the field owner that sponsors our team and he is a pump enthusiast and host monthly pump days. He was telling me that he had heard that Pinokio was going to make an electric 100 round hopper for the pump market. Now in my mind this makes sense since there has been a pump revival in the past couple of years so manufactureres would want to tap into that. Has anyone read anything or heard of anything that might support this. I've searched the net and came up snake eyes on it.

I can completely see this coming onto the market but I haven't seen any pump player that can or needs to shoot faster than gravity feed.

True about the gravity feed. Most people I see running a sniper that have a full size hopper seem to be using a Revvy. I guess it would be used mostly for those with auto triggers. If this rumor proves to be true I don't see it having a high feed rate though. It will be interesting to see.

How expensive could that be though?

Sounds like another product that they will over price. There original hopper is great but now I think they're reaching. Look at the $50 A5/X7 Hopper. Its just a piece of plastic nothing to fancy.

IMHO, there is no need for anything more fancy than a gravity hopper for a pump marker.
Back in the day, there was never a need for anything else. Pumps just don't shoot that fast. My .02

I wonder if their thinking behind it is to help against blowback with some markers by keeping constant pressure on the ball stack. I'm not too sure about the thinking behind it if it's even legitimatally gonna happen. I do know that I had a chop using someones sniper one time and it was awful. I had to leave the field and do a tear down to clean and had to clean out the hopper feed tube. I had read a few random posts of players modding a pocket hopper with the Revvy internals to have a smaller agitated loader. I haven't played pump enough to see the need for force feed loaders but I didn't have an auto trigger. To be honest though the higher the bps you get the more it negates the motive of using a pump.

The word on the street is they introduced a camo line of pinokios at ION.

Nice! If they would release a smaller 100 round version I'd be tempted to use it for my Mag to lower the profile some. By the way is it me or has anyone ever noticed the similarity between the Pinokio and the Triumph?
