Default Rare to see Automag Pumps anymore

I've recently acquired an old Automag Classic off of ebay and I'm waiting for it arrive. I can see myself buying another mag and when I do I may consider turning one of them into a pump. Automag pumps are a rare sight indeed and a piece of paintball history at that.

Nice post some pics of it when you can. I'll be having a pump autococker soon.

Well It'll be a process before I actually get it done. There isn't exactly a bolt on kit so to speak. You have to send it to an air smith and have some machining done to it to have it work. It looks like it will cost about $240 roughly to have it done, which is steep but they are very rare to see. I've got more projects in my head than I do funds for them. LOL!

Here is a pic of one I've seen floating on the net. I would use a smaller hopper setup than this, but I think it looks pretty tough.

Not really to rare. Thing to do would be to find a rail that is already milled for a pump. I would talk with Tuna about gettin' one over on the AGD Forum

The milled rail and the larger opening in the main body is all that is really required machining wise isn't it? I never thought about looking for the rail by itself and I know I can enlarge the opening on the bottom of the main body myself. Hmmm, this may be more in reach than I first thought. I may explore this more after Fulda Gap.

You could also mill the rail yourself. I saw a "how to" somewhere. I 'll post the link after I find it again

Also Tank, Since your gettin' into Mags. Your more then welcome to run with my RT PRO at Fulda if ya want. I've got to get a 2.0 carrier for the lvl 10. But I'll have it before the game.
