Default Reputation System

Posts: The amount of posts each person has made.
Points: The number of points a person has recieved from others
Power: When repping someone, the amount of points you give, or take away from you score. When subtracting from someones points, it uses half of your rep power.

Green Rep = Positive Rep

Grey Rep = No rep points received and is neither positive or negative. (this is due to the member giving the rep not meeting the requirements for their rep power to be active at the time the rep was given)

Red Rep = Negative Rep

Your power is determined by post count, and rep count. The amount of points you have can give others a general idea of your status on the forum. More points=more active, and usually respected member.

To rep someone, press the box above their forum info . You can rep someone for any reason but you'll usually do it if someone helps you with something or has done something really cool with their marker, gear, or overall post. You can "neg-rep" people if someone says something that is offensive or behaves in a manner thats otherwise in violation of the forum rules. You do not neg-rep someone for having a different opinion than yourself, but if they were to call your opinion idiotic and stupid, then neg repping would be ok.

Building rep pyramid schemes is strictly prohibited as the amount of rep points you have can give you access to different parts of the forum such as the B/S/T or certian lounges. To prevent pyramid schemes, you are not allowed to rep the same person until you have repped another twenty people. You may also not rep the same post twice on the same post.

If you feel you have been unfairly neg-repped, don't make a big deal out of it, ask a moderator to review your case and see if it really was deserved. But be careful because if the moderator thinks you were being a disorderly and you do deserved the neg rep, he may turn around and neg rep you too.

Reputation Points are also gained by meeting certain milestones. A chart of these milestones / requirements are as follows:

Register Date Factor
For every 365 days of membership, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Post Count Factor
For every 100 number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Reputation Point Factor
For every 50 points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Minimum Post Count
How many posts must a user have before his reputation hits count on others? 10

Minimum Reputation Count

Daily Reputation Clicks Limit
How many reputation clicks can a user give over each 24 hour period? 20
