Ladies and Gentlemen it is time once again to start thinking about Fulda Gap 2009. Where: Command Decisions Wargames Center in Taylorsville, NC. When: November 6th - 8th. What: The greatest scenario event in the Mid Atlantic Region!!!! For full details on the event hit www.fuldagap.com. The site should be updated in the next few weeks for the 2009 season. I am confirming to see if Platoon Leader will be held the Friday of Fulda Gap. If so, and you sign up for both events, you are in for one heck of a weekend. For those that have not had he opportunity to play Fulda Gap it is a unit based scenario. You sign up for which side and which unit on that side you want to play for/with. Each unit has specific goals, objectives, and starting field position. Fulda Gap is a theoretical battle between the Warsaw Pact and Nato. Its what the opening moves of World War 3 would have looked like had the Cold War ever heated up. Last year Fulda Gap had 618 players on approx 75 acres of playing field. Command Decisions has fire bases, a simulated village, forts, an air base, bunkers all over the place, creeks, bridges all set in the rolling hills of North Carolina. And Fulda Gap has Tanks, Field Guns, Air Strikes, Chemical Gas Attacks, and of course Thermonuclear Missiles! Okay, let the plotting, planning, and discussion begin. ____________________________________________ As most of you know. This is our Meet and Greet game this year for all the OG forums. I'm considering. Cash is important and I don't feel like headed down on my own from MD so if I can find someone else, I'll be there the day before everything starts.

Well, lets get it going here as well. Anyone from MD, DC, or the 95 corridor of VA, I can get an extra 2 people in my car, 3 if i take the big one, including gear.
