as for the co2, as i said earlier, get off my back.
called KEE today, lines busy ill try later this week
1. got the reg set at about 190-200. its very "touchy"
2. it holds air (no leaks)
3. all internals are ok (wires, tubes, bolt, springs, o-rings, noid etc.)
so basically all the mechanical functions are oscar-mike

the only real problem is it wont turn on. i just put a brand new, fresh out of the box duracell in it. it was working like a champ then it just stopped after i cleaned some residue paint off the eyes and put it back together. i really dont know how it could just magically die, all the wires are fine (no pinched spots, cuts etc.), all the connectors are fine and hook up snug, the battery is new (tried like 4 other different ones as well), the board is fine and the buttons are all snug, nothing is loose, and capacitor is fine.

so the only thing i can think of is maybe it doesnt like America? does anyone have a canadian flag sticker i can put on it to make it "happy"? lol

but seriously now... i love the back door battery box, it makes trying six different batteries 2 times a breeze.

dont worry Ichikisu, ill figure it out. this always happens, i touch something, and it breaks, story of my life. im gonna test the leads with my voltage meter

Hmm.... that's interesting to hear. I used to have that image put on me before but people didn't realize I knew what I was doing. Ah well. That's all said and done.

If I was there, I'd help you personally to resolve your power on problem. Haha. You had me at the Canadian Flag thing. Made my day. LOL

I like the voltage meter idea. I've done that with the TM7 with the power on problem and reading the manual helped me solve it.

Although, here's my suggestion because it worked for me. Try leaving it for tonight and try again tomorrow afternoon. Let the capacitor drain itself out (and leave the selector switch in safe mode) so that when you put a battery in, the power connection can reset itself. Think you can try that mate? I think it may solve your problem. Too much power in the capacity. I don't know if there is one but I think the TM7 board has an overload protection on it because the capacitor was still full of stored energy which would prevent any power to the board. That in turn would prevent circuits from blowing. That's just my train of thought. After I left it overnight, I tested it again and it showed the capacitor being empty. I put a battery in and it worked. I've played with electronics since I was 4. Don't ask. My father was a computer engineer. Though I am by no means an expert. I just have some basic knowledge on it but my physics knowledge is close to what my father knows. He's done quantum physics and I only know a very small fraction of that. It's needed for computer engineering. I don't see why but maybe when I start building my own computer components, I'll know, says my father. LOL

Thanks DJHoot. It's what I've done since I've started selling my gear, the first time being the Spyder Xtra back in 2006. I have strong beliefs in customer service. Cause helping a person goes a long ways to them helping others starting the chain reaction of everyone wanting to help others. And, the biggest thing for me, seeing the smile on the person's face after. I live for that.

Dude.I don't think anyone is on your back, they are trying to help you out.In all honesty though this is like putting diesel in a car that only takes regular gas.I would say its very possible by continuing to put CO2 in the marker you may have damaged some of the electronics.

thanks Ichikisu, im still looking for a flag tho lol. we had a "talk" last night, she wants to be set free in the Canadian wilderness, shes getting over it tho.

but, i tested all the leads and the board is getting power, i let it sit all night. ill try it again in a bit. i have a friend that works with circuit boards and stuff like that, i might have him look at it and see what he says. i cant see anything being broken on it, it was working fine, and i was extra gentle when i cleaned it. its not a tippmann after all :P

as for co2 hurting it... its the liquid thats bad on electronics, it condensates. water+power=bad. taking three shots off a double reg'd tank with remote didnt hurt the gun. i had it turned on after testing it and it just wouldnt turn on after i cleaned it

So after you cleaned it.......... something is ringing a bell in my head but I can't seem to recall what that bell was about. I think it may have to do with the wire harness connecting to the board. You must have caused something to become unsecured after you cleaned it because any time I cleaned the TM7, it always powered back up except for one time when I knocked the wiring harness loose. Make sure the wires aren't pull from the connector either. They're small enough to be pulled out if you pull by the wire instead of the connector. I learned that the hard way with Ions. These wires are just as small. Hopefully that isn't the problem though. Keep us posted.
