Default mini shoot down

Hey, just got home from afghana, tested the mini, it is wonderfully fast. :-) I got the j and j edge barrel kit, which is pretty good, but when using a barrel size that was to small (which I did at first) it shot down really bad... the first few balls were good, then about on ball five, the ball would hardly role out, and would do it a few times, and then go back to normal performance... when I put a better fitting barrel on, and it shot well... But I don't understand why a smaller barrel would cause it to shoot down like that (the reason is this is my first barrel kit, and I have never had this problem with a single sized barrel)... anyways, anyone know the deal? Thanks.

Not all balls in a bag are going to be the same size. I usually grab ten random balls to see what size I should use.

If it doesn't happen with a larger bore, then the answer is...your balls are too big for your barrel back.

We need more info! The barrel should not cause what you are experiencing.

How many PSI was in your HPA bottle?
What pressure is the gauge on the mini reading when aired up?
What poppet version do you have?

From Left to right: Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3.

That's twice that I have used it I need to take my own pic and post up a thread about the poppets.

ok so, the poppet looks like the newest gen three one, but it seems the front peice doesn't want to come off, and it is white instead of black... also, there is no hole in the tip, even on the gen 3 one, it looks like there is a small hole... on mine, it is only a small dimple. Correction, the tip is clear, and I can see threads, so it screws off... but it is differant that any of those three examples.
