Is the mini old/used? or brand new?
The noid sticks for me for a while at the start of every day i bring it out, but after pulling the trigger a bunch it gets going fine. Its pretty normal from what i hear. |

As long as you get a Good FPS reading then your fine, dont worry about the sound it makes.

Some of the noids in the minis and TMs have a little stick in the first few shots. I always turn the eyes off and and trigger the noid before I load it up and put air on it for the chrono station.

I have had a similar problem with my mini too. Mine is a 3rd gen mini, and whenever I haven't shot it for a while (even as little as 30 minutes) I have to pull the trigger several times before it will finally shoot. I have already cleaned and lubed the marker, and was wondering if it was a sticky noid also. Is this something that Kee would replace if I'm not the original owner? Not trying to jack your thread, just saw that we were having the same problem.

Ok so I was gonna replace my eyes then maybe my board, but now realize I have the "sticky solenoid" problem as well. I can't seem to find a solution to this just people saying they have the same problem. Its not that bad as the mini shoots like it should once it gets going, but I would rather fix it if it can be. So does anyone know of a solution?

Take the noid out and apart. Clean the piston and the cylinder with a q tip and a little rubbing alcohol. Let it complete dry and put it back together. The should fix the sticking. Do NOT lube it.

I took my mini apart last night and cleaned the noid. It was obvious when I took it apart that it needed cleaning. I noticed an immediate difference when I tried shooting it afterwards. It shoots on the first shot now instead of having to pull the trigger several times before it works.
