I would suggest a strap wrench if you can get one.

Normally putting your hopper in it does the trick.

I have had a couple in the shop that are very hard to get out. If you have a heat gun or even a hair dryer that gets quite hot, heat up the feed neck (be carefull not to get it extremely hot unless you remove the eye board and detent 1st) then try to remove it using the hopper or if you don't care about wrecking the stock neck, pliars or vise grips will get it done.

Pick up a strap wrench. Put your hopper in the neck and clamp it. This saves the old neck from being crushed when you wrench on it with the strapwrench. If you don't care about the stock neck then you can leave the hopper out.
