Default Solenoid or something else?

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with my GF's mini.

The solenoid didn't click so broke the solenoid down, checked everything, wiped everything off, used a new battery, checked the wires.....and still no go.

I emailed KEE and they sent a new noid to me. Installed the noid, and a fresh battery and turned the mini on (with eyes turned off) and pulled the trigger and viola, a click. Pulled the trigger again, no more clicking. Solenoid doesn't appear to be cycling anymore.

Any other idea?

Are there any loose wires on the board?

Have you recently adjusted the trigger settings?

Does it shoot when it has air and paint in it?

You can hear the click on some solenoids and some you cannot.

Put a KNOWN fresh battery in.
Reset the board to defaults.
Connect air and hopper with paint.
Power it on normally(do not turn off the eyes)
See if it shoots.

I checked the wires but I'll check again. The battery was a Duracell fresh out of the pack.

I haven't tried setting the board to default but it so far will not shoot with air/eyes off

Dang, so aired up it won't fire a shot??

Maybe your trigger pulls are not registering properly.

If you have not changed any trigger settings from when it was firing, make sure there is a magnet on top of the trigger assembly. You'll have to pull the grip off from the frame to check.

I checked the magnet and it's there (if its a super tiny kinda brass looking cylinder). The trigger blinks when I pull the trigger so I assume it's registering the pulls

FACTORY BOARD RESET
There are 3 ways to reset the Optimus™ board to default factory settings.
– Turn the power Off then push the Function Key and Power Button at the
same time.
– Remove the battery then simultaneously push and hold the Function Key
and Power Button for a full 10 seconds.
- Disconnect the battery and leave it idle for 15 seconds.

air it up, and try shooting it... with or without paint.... just make sure the eye settings are on or off depending if you have paint or not..

Then go somewhere that you can shoot... and shoot.. the noids get stuck sometimes and just take a while to break free and if you just keep shooting it unjams it.
