hey guys, not one for discussing noises but maybe i can find out if its a problem

have a v1 mini with replaced poppit, and noid
awhile ago i replaced the reg on my CF tank with a myth reg. ever since then, every shot makes a distinct 'ping' noise, sounding like the lower end. it is loud when shooting, but not so much when listening on the field or listening to it while spectating. anyone heard of myth regs with mini's having a similar affect?

which is making the noise the reg or the lower end of the marker?

I have heard many many times that SOME Myth regs make a ping sound when the marker is fired. It apparently has no negative affects but if you don't like it then contact Myth and they'll replace it for you.

Your Mini is just awesome as always.

Edit - I have never heard of a Ninja reg doing this.

Try the Bottle on a different marker. If the PING is still there, then it is likely the bottle reg and not the mini.

Its the reg.

Some newer regs make little sounds like that.

Mine used to.

Myth regs can get the PING. From my research it either will go away or it wont. You can get a hold of GA and see if they will replace the spring in the reg. That may or may not fix it.

thought the same and tried it with my pump marker and there was no noise. didn't know if anyone who had a myth experienced the same. it sounds like its from the tank or the bottom line from the asa
