My buddy bought a mini with virtue board in it and decided it didnt shoot fast enough so he took it to a local paintball store and had a guy there who (says) he knows what he is doing and maxed it out and now when he hooks up the air to it and pulls the trigger the bolt opens up and all the air just shoots out the marker and wont stop till he take the air tank off. Does anyone know how to fix it or what the problem is. he wants to take it back and have the guy fix it but i said that was a bad decision.

Read the manual for the virtue board and set it back to factory defaults. Then go from there.

After you've reset your settings back to the default settings, test to make sure it works as expected.
Then, simply go in a change the ramping setting for BPS with Eyes On. I think the Mini maxes at 20BPS. That should be all he needs to do to max out the BPS. All of those other setting I believe will not make a noticeable difference in the rate of fire (i.e. delays, bolt return, etc.).

no but he drove hour and a half just to go there. When it sticks open he unsrews the tank and then screws it back on and it will work fine. Its just the first time he adds air and turns it on. The light flashes blue fast then when he pulls the trigger he has to do it 3 times then the light flshes slow blue and then the bolt gets stuck open.

yes we did everything everyone said and it was still doing it then i rembered you said to check the batterie and that was the problem. So we just left it set at psp ramping to it is legal. Thanks for the help and will allways rember to check the batterie first. Im thinking about getting a virtue for my mini is it a good choice or just stick with my stock board. I can walk the trigger fine with the stock board.

Glad to hear you found the issue. I would stick with the stock board and put the cost of the virtue towards paint and entry fee

Sounds good and even if I can get a virtue board for 40 still keep the stock board. Also I can get a virtue ego or etek board for 60.
