This may be covered in the stickies but I'd like to get a little discussion going. I had my first problems with my Mini on Saturday.
On occasion while playing my Mini will stop firing. The only way I've been able to remedy the problem is to turn it off, then turn it back on with the eyes off, fire once or twice, then turn the eyes back on. It cost me a few painful welts when I was engaged in a firefight and unexpectedly couldn't return fire. My batteries are fresh. I maintain it well and lube it regularly. Settings are stock. The gun was bought new in March and I might have 8 or so cases through it. I talked to my local PB store manager and he thought it might be the front rubber piece on the bolt. It might be worn and sticking. Your thoughts/suggestions? |

I was having the same problem and all I did was relube the bolt and bolt guide and spin the bolt a couple of times and then make sure you have the spring on correctly

I've also got some worn spots if you look down through the feedneck. My spring is in right so I'm getting some binding some where. I'm going to tear it down completely tonight and re-lube and inspect everything.

Hmmm. That is strange. Yeah, I'd say a good tear down and cleaning with some fresh lube on it and give it a try. It could've been bolt stick due to lack or lube or something. Keep us posted.

That sounds exactly like the front bumper on the bolt is worn and sticking when the bolt try's to return to the original position. You should have another one that came with the parts kit in the box. Your best bet is to simply replace it.

It could also be paint stuck in the feedneck. I've had that a few times. The eyes won't let it fire if they don't see a ball. This is assuming you have the eyes on.

I don't think it's paint stuck in the feedneck. When it happens the first thing I do is rotate the rip drive on the Reloader B and it's never fixed it I'm surprised I have to change the front bumper after only 8 or so cases. Oh well, hopefully it's a cheap fix.

What happens when the bolt sticks is it sticks out just far enough to keep the paint from dropping into the breech. Which is why you have to turn the eyes off to get it going again.

Try taking off the manifold plate and checking if your eyes are dirty... if not, replace the bumper man.
