Every time i turn on the mini and put the loader on and fill with paint, the very first shot comes out very slow. sometimes it will barely shoot the first ball . One time the paintball stoped at the end of the barrel. Its like its shooting the first shot with very little pressure. It will shoot the rest of the paint in the loader just fine.I am new to using the Mini so im not real sure why its doing this.I have only shot it 3 times, but all three times it has done this. Why is it doing this?

Hi,
I would read through this thread and then ask us questions when you exhaust your possibilities. *The Ultimate How To Fix Your Mini Thread*

Yeah read the thread, read through the Mini manual and it should fix your problems pretty well. If your problem persists write back with the specifics of your gun: Type of tank, pressure reading from tank and reg gauges, firing modes, dwell settings etc. Make sure the tank is screwed all the way in and it might help to fire the gun as you screw/unscrew the tank in.

Dude, its your solenoid.(i think) Try clicking it a few times before you air it up. Then try.
![]() EDIT: the solenoid is NOT broken, in this case it is just dirty. |

It sounds like bolt stick to me. What happens is that after sitting for a while the orings and the lube on them begins to stick to the internals of the marker. Thus the first shot requires more work to break the bolt free resulting in a lower fps. It is a very common problem to many different types of markers. If you have an aftermarket board there is actually a setting you can adjust that will raise the dwell on the first shot. If you have the stock board and this is not an option, then you should try to clean off the old lube and lightly relube the bolt.

If you use the stock board, i believe it comes default with i believe a 2 or 3 ms ABS... i think this is more a solenoid getting stuck problem. Did you get it used?

i have the same problem but not always. its when i dont shoot the gun for a while. I think its the bolt getting stuck. Like the first ball just drops 10 feet then the rest braid ropes into peoples bunkers

I think its the solenoid getting stuck, and not opening fully. Causing a small amount of air to go into the barrel, but not nearly enough to shoot the ball at 300 fps.

ABS is antibolt stick.. its really for the colder play.. because when it is cold, the lube thickens up, and it takes more.. umph to get it moving... It just ups the dwell by a few ms... thats why if you leave your gun for a while, and your first shot with chrono a little bit higher.
EDIT: i only use it in the winter... |
