Whats up guys? Well. I got to use my Mini for the first time today, and it was amazing to say the least. My friend seemed to strip the allen screw right under the bolt, and i cannot take the gun appart for proper tear down and lubing. What way do you suggest taking the screw out, I have an extra one (thank god) and i was thinking of using a dremel to cut the head off, but i would have the screw still stuck in there. Any suggestions?

You might get away with cutting the head off then pulling the body apart and gripping the rest of the screw, but you may also seriously damage your Mini's body in the process.

There is a special tool, i think its called an easy out.... Its meant for taking out stripped screws. I used one on my angel at one point.
EDIT: if you cut of the head of your screw you will be screwed. (no pun intended.) the screw threads into the gripframe.. you wont be able to unscrew the gripframe off of it either. |

An easy out might work as well. You're less likely to damage the body with an easy out.

I believe so.. I dont see why they wouldnt have them. If they dont then try canadian tire or something.

Get a hacksaw.
Cut a "slot" across the head of the bolt (not all the way through!). Use a flat blade screwdriver to remove. |

do you think using a dremel to cut a slot would work as good?
