Default Not enough umph

okay after the surgery of my gun, everything works except for the fact its not getting enough umph or air. i dont knw wats wrong because i've broken down my gun numerous times and nver came across this problem before. The selonoid clicks the bolt moves but not enough to push the ball and air leaks between the asa and triggerframe when i press the trigger. also it doesnt sound right, like the gun has that correct sound when you fire it. anyone have ideas? in the mean time i will see if i can disect the problem myself while i wait.

Try putting the stock bolt in and shooting. I heard that the TechT bolts dont sit right on some bolt guides.

As for the asa and gripframe, try tightening the asa, or changing that o-ring on the air tube.

Oh let me try that and see what happens, and that o ring doesnt seem to need replacing, it sits well.

I assume that means the stock bolt works good? Is the leak still there?

no it doesnt leak anymore. I'm assuming that with the TechT bolt in the air doesnt enter or is blocked off and the only way to escape was between the crack of the trigger frame and ASA. With the stock bolt no leaks. Crazy huh. XaB wasnt you the one who said leave good enough alone lol. i had to learn the hard way.

Lol, i did say that.

And the reason the leak stopped, was because with the TechT bolt, the air was coming back through the gun, and leaving back out the solenoid. It was just venting off the air from the shot.

Glad i could help

you know, the more i read about performance-related after-marker product issues the more i am inclined to stay away. i dont necessarily think its TechT specifically, b/c the build quality of their stuff is good, but since paintball manufacturers seem to have less-than-exact tolerances b/c runs its almost impossible to know that you're going to be buying a product that will function.

the good think about TechT is that they'll refund your money. i have worked with them in the past a number of times and they've always been good guys, but i actually ended up giving away one of their Zero Kick Hammers.

justkill, if the company from whom you purchased the bolt wont work with you on a refund, call TechT directly and they should work with you if you want a refund. there is a good chance they can also help you troubleshoot it since the Mini is very popular and i'm sure theyve encountered your problem before.

yeah i rather trouble shoot it cause the bolt is super super light. I shot an email to both the ANS and Todd @ techT, no response yet. And Monday is a Labor Day Holiday, I'm not quite sure if i'll hear a response.
