Unhappy Air Problems.

Today at the field, I noticed my marker's air was leaking throughout the barrel. The fields "Mini Expert" said it had to do with the solenoid, and he didn't really explain why.

Is that true? I wanna know before I spend $40 on a new one...

Well if its the solenoid, try to reset it before you buy new. And even if that doesn't work, contact KEE before you buy a new one. While they are generally slow about responses to email and phone tech support, they eventually come out and help.

make sure there is no air in the gun... Then unscrew the backcap all the way. Take out the brass thing.... Then compare it to this picture. What one does it look most like?

The difference between the 1st and 2nd one, are the tips.. the 2nd on is slighly more rounded at the edges.

Correct!.. Call boss paintball (maybe at a reasonable hour... its midnight for me right now lol)

He can send you out a new one, for a fee of course (not exactly sure how much lemme check)

EDIT: its just under 13 bucks from boss. http://www.piranha-evil.com/Mini.htm Part number 33

EDIT again: I just noticed, you will also need a poppet spring for that. (part number 79) its a 1.50 for it.

Hmm... I heard from somewhere that I could call up Kee and get one sent to me for free... I dunno. I'll call them tomorrow and see what's up.

I just checked out a thread on PBN about the solenoid armature needing to be put in a certain way, and I just did so. I'll try seeing what a difference this makes tomorrow, too.
