Strap wrench is the best/safest way. Especially if its really in there.

well you COULD....but if you want to do that, be sure you put some sort of padding underneath like a microfiber cloth double layered or something to prevent paint scratches and overall damage. If you have problem even from there, dont force it, deal with it for the time being until you either have a strap wrench, someone who owns one is willing to help, or you go to a field/proshop that can help remove it.

Ok, but again, be careful. Heat can cause bubbling under the paint and ruin the look.

how i did mine was i put a towel and padding around the neck, then i took a regular grip wrench (big as pliers but with the parot beak) then i held the gun on a chair with the neck outward, while a frend took the wrench and applied down force and TARAH!!!

What kind of hopper you using, The CP neck is really tight and you might have to shave your hopper.

The search button works here

http://www.invertog.net/tech-help/60...ion-sorry.html

I would also install the hopper so the strap wrench doesn't bend the feedneck.

i got it off last night, with a blow dryer and some vice grips. the feedneck got murdered, but it came off and the new one fits perfectly. pics will be posted tonight. The hopper is a halo v35 and i had to shave it ever soo slightly, but it works perfectly.
