Ahgh! A leak!

This is a discussion on Ahgh! A leak! within the Tech Help section, part of the Invert Marker Section category; i have a leak in my mini its barely audible and i dont know where its coming from. any suggestions?...

i have a leak in my mini

its barely audible and i dont know where its coming from. any suggestions?

Hmm... Try taking off your grips (just the rubber, not the whole frame.) and putting windex (works really well) or soapy water on the tube where it connects together, at the reg, and at the body....

If that doesnt work, try replacing o-rings on the bolt guide. and bolt.

Then report back hopefully we can find it.

here's a sure way to find it...

fill your bathtub with water (hot or cold, it wont really matter), then air up your marker and submerge it. see the bubbles? thats the leak!

i havent found it yet. it sounds like its coming from the feed neck area. and now not only do i have a leak, my gun wont shoot! all the shots just drop out the barrel.

*sigh*

Update your poppet... (unscrew the back cap and look inside.. there is a brass thing, take it out and compare it to this picture...

the gens go from from left to right, gen1 gen2, gen3 respectively.
