But can you get the stock barrel in and out? :P
Compare the threads on the barrel back and the stock barrel, do they look the same? (ignoring the messed up part) Because the barrel back may have been a different thread. Glad to hear its fine

if you get any play in the barrel you can use a small, thin oring (stretch it over the barrel threaded end and roll it up past the threads to the seat) and it'll help keep the barrel stable.
