Default Reg Pressure Rising

So I always make sure my reg pressure is less than 200 before I play. The past three times I have noticed that about halfway through the day my regulator pressure is rising up to like 230 which is causing my velocity to spike and my balls to do figure eights. I sent it back to Kee to get it repaired and I just got it back today. I aired it up and shot about 1000psi though it and still the same problem. Kee had my Reg set at 200psi. Any ideas? I don't want to send it back in again and be without for another weekend.

Its prolly just the gauge if the velocity doesn't increase. Try replacing it.

The velocity is increasing. I can tell because my shots start shooting all over the place cause the velocity is spiking

I don't understand the 1000psi, but I agree it could be the guage. If the pressure really is creeping up to 230psi then you would hear it hissing out the bottom of the regulator. This is a safety feature to protect the Mini's internals.

I'm having the same problems. I used my mini two weeks ago and hand to take it apart because there was a leak from the air transfer plate gasket. With that in mind same thing happen the next time I used my mini which was last week. I also noticed the gauge was at 250 or so. I lowered the gauge to a little under 200 and lubed the air transfer plate gasket since I had a leak there again. By the end of the day my gauge said my mini was up to a little over 200.

They will if it is under warranty. Try to take it apart as far as you can and inspect/oil. You will not be able to fully disassemble it because it is not a serviceable regulator.
