Default BT/Kee Action being Irritating

I recently bought a TM-15 and have to say that I love it. The fact that it is as simple as a Mini but has the externals of a MILSIM marker.

My plan was to put a Rip-Clip and Lapco Assault barrel on to it. The barrel is for better accuracy and to make it loud enough for the Rip-Clip. My only problem is, BT never included a RC Adapter.

I e-mailed them and asked. This was the response I got -

None of the current Rip Clips on the market work efficiently with the BT TM15. The rumors you hear about the TM15 being too quiet for the BT-4 or M98 Rip Clips are correct. We urge for customers to wait until the TM Rip Clip is available and do not recommend using either of the BT Rip Clips that are available on the market. We are very aware of this issue that customers are having with the BT-4 and M98 Rip Clips. It was never suggested by KEE that these Rip Clips would work efficiently with the TM15. We do, however, suggest purchasing another sound activated loader in place of the Rip Clip that does work very well with the TM15. The HALO TOO is a sound activated loader with capabilities of 20+ BPS and works extremely well with the TM15.

Basically, the entire reason that the BT Rip Clips do not work for the TM15 is due to the shell covering the barrel. The shell tends to deaden the sound, which makes the marker much more quiet compared to BT series markers and the microphone sensitivity on the BT Rip Clip circuit boards are not sensitive enough to pick up the sound.

Thanks!!

I understand their reasons but it doesn't makes sense to me when it says that it's included and they don't include it because it's quiet. I, like most others, change to an aftermarket barrel.

To top all of this off now, my only electronic loader broke today...the wires ripped apart in the middle of a firefight and I had to go off the field...I'm depressed now.

I wish they had the same customer service as Tippmann. I have sent BT two e-mails asking them kindly to send me one so that I can buy a RC which they make....

i have spoken to kee and unless your mini is still under warranty and you have proof of such they seem pretty reluctant to work with customers. they're pretty quick to point you in the direction of Boss and will instruct you to purchase what you need from them.

good luck!

C.Wilson have you tried calling them at 800-724-6822? I've had pretty good success with all my BTs and have had Tippmamn like service but I have never emailed. I just call them. Good luck!

I guess I'll have to start calling now....

I love the marker but can't enjoy it the it's fullest without proper feeding and the sights.
