So I was told I could come to this forum for help with my TM7 since its pretty much a Mini in a shell. Also I typed my name in wrong and didnt realize it, its supposed to be Milsimplayer, not milsimplayet. I'm a guy not a girl
![]() Ok, I just got a TM7 last week. I fired some rounds through it to make sure everything worked. Yesterday I took it apart to learn how the internals worked as I'm familiar with only Tippmann markers. I put everything back together and now it doesnt fire like it should be. A burst of air comes out, but its not shooting like it was before, its only a little bit of air. The tank is still at 3000psi so its not low air. I lubed everything that it said I should in the manual. I took it apart and put it back together a second time and its still shooting only a little bit of air. Battery is the duracell that cam with it. I just dont get why it works perfectly fine the first time and now its not with it being brand new. Can anyone help??? |

Welcome to the OG!!! A mod should be able to help you with changing your name. Normally there's aname change request thread just search for it.
Are you trying to fire paint through or dry fire it? If your dry firing it you need to turn off the eyes or it won't work. You can do that buy holding down the trigger and turning on the power at the same time. The other thing you need to check is the solenoid. If the above fix doesn't get you up and running...then that's the most likely culprit. Did you lube the solenoid? If so that is probably your problem. You can also test this by turning on the marker with the eyes off and no air. Set it to fire and pull the trigger(no more than 10 times, VERY IMPORTANT!!!!). You should hear a click at the back of the marker. If you don't you need to pull apart the solenoid and clean it with alcohol to ensure to ensure you get every bit of lube off. I know alot of people run their solenoids dry with no lube and are problem free. Let us know if that works, good luck!!!

I didnt check the solenoid yet, but i turned the eyes off and there is a clicking sound in the back. I will clean it tonight though to make sure. Could it still be the solenoid if the clicking is there?

Did you accidentally adjust your velocity at all? If you screw down the velocity adjuster the poppit is barely going to open and you'll just get a tiny puff of air.
Fixed your username as well Last edited by Vashthestampede; April 6th, 2010 at 12:36 PM. |

The reg on the marker is set at 200psi, I will check the vilocity tonight. Can it be bumped simply by taking it apart and putting it back together?
Thanks for fixing my name Vash |

yea, if i remember correctly, the velocity is adjusted through the batter compartment area?
And if you had it split in 2, then you could have spun that by accident.. CC makes the velocity go up, and clockwise makes it go down. |

If you took your marker completely apart then velocity could be your issue. If your solenoid clicks then it's alright.
