Default New style solenoid plunger

Anybody notice they changed the solenoid plunger. I got a couple of the new ones in my team parts kit:

Running it now and it's ended all my solenoid warm-up/sticking issues. Gun hasn't worked so well since it was new.

That would explain why my newer one doesnt have any sticking issues.... (although it could just not have been gunked up yet)

I also noticed that the new one doesnt make a clicking noise (atleast a very loud one) when air is not on... Is this true for you too?

is anyone else a little put off that kee designed poppits, boards, and solenoid plungers improperly and charge customers to replace the defective parts with properly designed parts after the fact?

Yes, I did notice that it`s quieter then the original...this one is copper colored, the original was steel with flat sides.

Skip PB solutions and call directly to Kee CS, I`ve had great support from them. Funny thing is, I was talking with a Kee tech yesterday and he wasn`t even aware of the new plungers. Apparently, they don`t fix noids, they only replace the entire `noid assembly (I`m in Canada). He didn`t have any of the new plungers in the Canadian warehouse, but was going to see about aquiring some from the US.

That's too bad to hear. You're just spoiled by Tippmann (me too...)

I hear you there - it can be hit or miss. Kee has a lot of good guys working for them, and when you talk to the right people, you can't go wrong - unfortunately, sometimes their phone system, combined w/ underwhelming staff, can be... well, underwhelming.

Don't worry, though - they're not a fly by night company, haha, so you know you'll get your warranty support!
