Default Is the stock board enough?

OK guys, I have the Tadao board installed on my Mini but I also have the v1.2 (I think) stock board. My question is, is the v1.2 board enough & is it worth selling my Tadao over? I'd like to upgrade the Mini & this seems to be an easy way to make some cash for the upgrades (trigger, bolt, etc). I don't need any fancy modes & I cap mine at 13bps, so ROF isn't an issue either.

So, is it good enough & is it worth it in the end?

Thanks!

The stock Mini board should be plenty for what you are looking for (semi, 3-shot, full-auto) as well as settings for dwell and BIP. I also find it easy to program. The main reason I switched to an APE board is so I could switch fire modes on the fly without having to turn the marker off first.

My advice would be to sell the board and get New Designz On/Off Thread Saver, a DW fibur barrel with Freak inserts, and a new trigger.

Leave the bolt stock because you'll spend more time tuning it than playing with it.

OK, does the stock board have any type of ramping modes? Also, I think a trigger & peanut tank are first on my list..lol. Oh, and a Dbug special when I get the cheddar!

Thanks Tigar!

Yes it does have ramping modes. Read more about it in the Mini's manual (LINK), see page 11 for the 4 different firing modes.

For short 15-20 minute games I like my stubby Ninja 50 and for longr games I use my Ninja 68.

I also want to talk to Dbug about my Etek when I have some spare cash laying around.

I love my Virtue board and eyes. As for the bolt, I use the NDZ Tru Flo bolt and spring. It did take a little tuning to get it right, but now it's so much better than the stock bolt. Not near the kick, and waay more air efficient. I'm running at about 150psi for oerall pressure and my dwell is set at five blinks and closing dwell is as low as the Virtue will let me put it. With a Rotor or a Prophecy on my Mini, it has no problem shooting 25 bps. I keep it locked at 12.5, but it will do 25 no problem.
